Admissions A.Y. 2025/2026
The Conservatorio di Gallarate opens applications for the A.Y. 2025/2026 from July 14 to August 25 at 10:00 AM, until completion of the following Classes:

The admission fee must be paid exclusively through the Nettuno platform.
For academic courses (Bachelor/Master), Preparatory, and Young Talents, an additional government fee of €6.04 must be paid via:

The payment date must not be earlier than the application opening date. Otherwise, it will not be accepted.
Include the student’s full name and requested course in the payment reason.
A copy of the payment must be uploaded to the Nettuno portal under the section “Copia pagamento tassa governativa 1016”.
Admission Test Dates

Test Procedures:
- Non-EU students, even with an Italian language certificate, must take an online Italian test (written and/or oral). A link will be sent by email. Those who are absent or not qualified cannot take the instrumental test.
- The practical instrumental test takes place either in person at the Conservatorio G. Puccini, or via video submission.
Those taking the test in person will be notified by email at least 5 days in advance.
Those taking the test online must upload their video to:

by September 10 at 1:00 PM.

NOTE: For video admissions, the full exam program must be recorded (e.g., “Perform one piece from the X submitted” = record all X pieces submitted).
Exam programs can be found on the official website under “Didattica” by selecting the Level and then the Instrument.
Bachelor (Triennio) candidates, after enrollment (and before the start of the academic year), must take the remedial tests in the following subjects:
- TRPM (Rhythmic Theory and Ear Training)
- Music History
- Harmony and Analysis Theory
- Piano Practice and Sight-Reading (for all courses except Piano and Guitar)
Exemptions are granted to those with:
- A valid certification from Conservatorio di Gallarate or another AFAM institution
- A high school diploma from a music-focused school (liceo musicale)
- A self-certification as per DPR 445/2000, accompanied by the relevant course program
Internal students do not need to send any program.
Candidates of the Preparatory/Young Talents courses, after enrollment (and before the start of the academic year), must take the Rhythmic Theory and Ear Training test.
Those who hold an equivalent certification or a high school diploma from a music-focused school (liceo musicale) are exempt from the test.
It is also sufficient to submit a self-certification pursuant to DPR 445/2000.
The self-certification and certifications must be accompanied by the relevant program in order to be validated by the committee and to avoid taking the Rhythmic Theory and Ear Training test.
Internal students of the Conservatory are not required to submit any program.

Students awaiting a visa must simultaneously submit their admission application through the Nettuno portal and their pre-enrollment through the Universitaly portal.
Pre-enrollment on Universitaly will only be approved after passing the Italian language test. Otherwise, the application will be rejected.
If the Italian language test is passed, non-EU students residing outside of Italy must take the instrumental test in online mode by submitting a video.
Non-EU students are required to upload the following documents with their admission application:
- A valid visa or residence permit, or a request for renewal of an expired residence permit
- Passport
- Declaration of value or educational qualification translated into Italian
The application will be accepted only if complete with required documents and payments (admission fee + government tax).
Incomplete applications will prompt an email requesting the missing documents (check SPAM too).
The Conservatory does not provide a piano accompanist for the admission exams.
No refund will be issued in case of applicant absence or incomplete application.
Successful candidates (based on actual availability of places) will receive an email from the Academic Office.
Enrollment for the A.Y. 2025/2026 must be completed within one week from the publication of the ranking list on the official website.
