Admission Exam
• Performance of the first movement of a concerto, chosen from the following: Haydn, Hummel, Arutiunian; alternatively, the candidate may present the first movement of Hindemith’s Sonata.
• Performance of an étude of appropriate level.
• Performance of 3 orchestral excerpts of the candidate’s choice.
The committee has the discretion to listen to the entire or a partial presentation of the program.
