Students will receive an email from the relevant lecturer containing the link to connect remotely. The assessment will consist of a written and/or oral test. Students who are absent or deemed unsuitable in the Italian language test will not be allowed to take the instrumental examination. - Practical Examination in the Main Discipline
The practical test in the main discipline will be held in person (except for extra-EU students awaiting a visa, who must submit a video), at the premises of the Conservatorio G. Puccini or through video evaluation.
Candidates required to attend the in-person examination will receive a convocation email from the Academic Office with five days’ notice.
Students taking the practical test in the main discipline online must upload their examination video via the following platform:
https://issmpuccinigallarate.it/ammissioni-upload-video/
by April 14 at 10:00 a.m. Please consult the Guidelines (Vademecum).
Note – Online Video Admission:
Admission examination programmes must be recorded in full (e.g., “Performance of one study/piece chosen from X presented…” = record all X studies/pieces presented), in accordance with the programme published on the website.
The programmes (as regulated by Ministerial Decree 382/2018) required to take the instrumental test in the main discipline are available on the institutional website under the “Teaching” section (by first selecting the Level and then the Instrument of interest).

After enrolment (before the beginning of the academic year), candidates must take the following remedial tests:
- TRPM (Rhythmic Theory and Musical Perception)
- History of Music

- An upper secondary school diploma with a music specialisation obtained in Italy.
A self-certification pursuant to Presidential Decree 445/2000 is also sufficient.

https://issmpuccinigallarate.it/studenti-stranieri/
Students awaiting a visa must simultaneously submit their admission application on the Nettuno portal and complete pre-enrolment on the Universitaly portal. Pre-enrolment will be approved only after passing the Italian language test; otherwise, the pre-enrolment application will be rejected.
If the Italian language test is passed, non-resident extra-EU students must take the instrumental examination online by submitting a video.
Extra-EU students must mandatorily attach the following documents to their admission application:
- Valid visa or residence permit, or proof of renewal application;
- Passport;
- Declaration of value or qualification translated into Italian.
Admission documents must be uploaded once only in the corresponding section.
The admission application will be accepted by the Secretariat only if complete with all required documentation and payments (admission fee + government tax).
In the case of an incomplete application, an email will be sent requesting integration of the missing document (please also check your spam folder).
In the event of absence from the admission examinations or failure to complete an incomplete application (which will therefore not be accepted), no refund of the admission fee will be granted.
