A.A. 2021-2022: ADVICE FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS
Admissions to the the following courses at “Giacomo Puccini” Conservatory – Gallarate for the a.y. 2021/2022 are extended from the 2nd to the 27th of August:
Candidates for each course and instrument must fill in the admission form, send a video of their performances, attach copies of documents and payment receipts of the admission fee (see Fees and Contributions) through the following link:
All the admission exams, whose programs can be found in the Section “Didattica” (by clicking on the relevant course degree and instrument), will be carried out by sending a video. To record it, please follow the instructions as indicated in the Vademecum.
Notwithstanding the DPCM currently in force relating to the Covid emergency, the admission exam programs must be recorded in full:
- “Performance of a study/piece among N presented …” means: “record all the X studies/pieces presented …”.
The tests of “sight reading” are abolished since they would require to be carried out in presence; this exception applies exclusively to admission exams for the A.Y. 2021/2022.
Candidates will be then evaluated by the examining board. Starting from August 30th, they will receive a communication per email regarding their eligibility; eligible candidates will be able to compete for the merit ranking to be definitively admitted, according to the number of available places.
The general ranking of those admitted will be drawn up in the first days of September.
All programs can be found in the section “Didattica”, by clicking on the relevant course degree and instrument .
For students who need to apply for a study visa, information is available on the Foreign Students page.
