It is possible to apply for admission from 01 July 2026 to 31 August 2026 at 10:00 a.m., and in any case until the available places in the following classes are completed:

To apply,  it is necessary to follow the online procedure (by 9:45 a.m. on 31 August), available at the following link: https://registroelettronico.nettunopa.it/ammissioni/?id=119201

 

The admission fee must be paid exclusively through the Nettuno platform, at the same time as uploading the application for admission.

 

For academic courses (Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees), Preparatory and Young Talents, in addition to the admission fee, it is necessary to pay the government tax of € 6.04 on the c.c.p. 1016 or by bank transfer made out to “Agenzia delle Entrate – Centro Operativo di Pescara” (Iban IT45R0760103200000000001016).

 

If the payment of the government tax of € 6.04 is made from abroad, it must be made by bank transfer: IBAN: IT45 R0760 103200 00000000 1016

The payment of the government fee must not be on a payment date prior to the opening of admissions. In this case, it will not be accepted. The name of the student and the requested course must be indicated in the reason for payment. A copy of the payment must be attached to the application form on the Nettuno portal under the heading “Copy of payment of government tax 1016

The methods of carrying out the exams are as follows:

  • Foreign students, even if in possession of an Italian language certification, will take an Italian language test at the same time as the instrumental test.
    In the event that the instrumental test is sent in video format, the student will be contacted by the commission to take the language test before the video is examined. Students who are absent or unsuitable for the Italian language test will not be able to take the instrumental test, consequently, the video will not be viewed.
  • The practical test in the main discipline will take place in person (with the exception of non-EU students waiting for a visa who will have to send the video) at the G. Puccini Conservatory or through the evaluation of a video.
    Candidates called to take the test in person will receive an email from the teaching secretariat with 5 days’ notice.
    Students who will take the practical test in the main discipline electronically must send the video of the test via the following link: http://ammissioni.issmpuccinigallarate.it/  by 07 September.
    The candidate will only need to enter their name, surname and the email address used in the application for admission.

N.B.: Online video admission:

The programs of the entrance exams must be recorded in full (e.g.: “Performance of a study/piece among X presented…” = record all the X studies/pieces presented) as per the program published on the website.

 

The programs (as regulated by Ministerial Decree 382/2018), to take the instrumental test of the main discipline, can be found on the website  institutional to the “Teaching” section (by clicking first on the Level and then on the Tool of interest).

 

Candidates of the three-year course, after enrolment (before the beginning of the academic year), will have to take the tests relating to the debts:

  • TRPM (Rhythmic Theory and Music Perception)
  • History of Music
  • Harmony theory and analysis
  • Piano practice and reading (for all courses except piano and guitar)

Students who are in possession of:

  • an equivalent certification (to be attached to the application form), obtained at the Gallarate Conservatory or other AFAM institution.
  • a high school diploma with a musical focus obtained in Italy

It is also sufficient to attach a self-certification pursuant to Presidential Decree 445/2000.

 

The self-certification and certifications must be accompanied by the relevant program, in order to be validated by the Commission and avoid taking the test of the related debts.

 

Internal students of the Conservatory do not have to send any selfcertification.

 

Candidates of the preparatory course/young talents after enrolment (before the beginning of the academic year), will have to take the rhythmic theory and music perception test. 

Students who are in possession of:

  • a certification of equivalent discipline (to be attached to the application form), obtained at the Gallarate Conservatory or other AFAM institution
  • a high school diploma with a musical focus

It is also sufficient to attach a self-certification pursuant to Presidential Decree 445/2000.

The self-certification and certifications must be accompanied by the relevant TRPM program, in order to be validated by the Commission and avoid taking the Rhythmic Theory and Music Perception test. 

 

Internal students of the Conservatory do not have to send any selfcertification. 

 

Non-EU students who need to apply for a visa for study purposes can find all useful information and contacts on the https://issmpuccinigallarate.it/studentistranieri/ page.

Students waiting for a visa must proceed at the same time with the application for admission on the Nettuno portal and with the preenrolment on the Universitaly portal. Pre-registration will be approved only after passing the Italian test; otherwise, the preenrolment application will be rejected.”

In case of passing the Italian language test, non-EU students not residing in Italy must take the instrumental test electronically, by sending a video

Non-EU students must attach the following documents to the application form:

  • Valid visa or residence permitor application for renewal of the residence permit;
  • Passport;
  • Declaration of value or qualification translated into Italian.

The documents of the application for admission must be attached once and only once in the corresponding section.

 

The application for admission will be accepted by the Secretariat only if complete with the aforementioned documentation and the related payments (admission fee + government fee)

 

In case of incomplete application, an email will be sent to integrate the missing document (see also among SPAM). 

 

In the event of disability or diagnosis of Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), it is mandatory to attach the relevant certification documentation, in order to allow the possible preparation of a diversified instrumental test.

Foreign candidates with disabilities or SLDs who intend to take advantage of the aforementioned legal measures must submit the certification 

issued in the country of residence, accompanied by a sworn translation and by an official translator or certified as conforming to the original text by the Italian diplomatic representations, in Italian or

English, certifying a disability or SLD recognized by Italian legislation.

 

In the event of the candidate’s absence from the admission tests or an incomplete application that has not been completed (which will not be accepted) 

No refund of the admission fee paid will be made.

 

Candidates must present themselves for the entrance exams with their own piano accompanist and with a valid identity document or passport.

The ranking of those eligible will be published on the institutional website.

  

Admitted candidates (based on the actual availability of places) will receive an e-mail from the Academic Secretariat with instructions on how to proceed with enrolment in the A.Y. 2026/2027.

 

Registration must be completed within one week of the publication of the ranking list on the institutional website.
