Applications for admission to the Gallarate Conservatory for the a.y. 2021/22 will be accepted from April 1st to July 20th.

Prospective students who plan to enroll in any of the degree courses offered at “Giacomo Puccini” Conservatory – Gallarate must fill a form with personal data in the “Admissions” Section of the website:

Moreover, each candidate is required to upload a video of his/her own performance, which will be assessed by a Selection Committee, and to send copies of his/her ID documents as well as registration fee receipts to the Student Office.

All the admission exams, whose detailed programs can be found on this website in the “Course Degrees” Section, will take place for each candidate by uploading his/her own video, to be recorded according to the guidelines here attached: Vademecum.

Notwithstanding the current regulations (DPCM) concerning Covid emergency, the programs of the online admission exams must be performed / recorded in full (i.e. “Performance of a piece out of X presented …” means that allthe X piecesindicated in the program must be recorded).

The “sight reading” tests are abolished, since they would require to be carried out on site. This exception applies exclusively to admissions to the A.Y. 2021/2022.

Candidates will then be evaluated by a Selection Committee and will be individually notified per email about their eligibility/non-eligibility after ca. 30/40 days from the application date.

Eligible candidates will enter a merit ranking to be definitely admitted, also depending on the number of available places. The general ranking of eligible candidates will be compiled after August 23rd.

Enrollments may be re-opened from September 6th on the basis of possible places left.

All study programs can be consulted in the “Didattica” section, by clicking on the degree course you are interested in and then on the relevant instrument.
